This Privacy Policy explains how ConnectHID ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application Gyro Gamepad: Android TV & PC ("the App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

We are committed to user privacy and minimal data exposure:

• No Keystroke / Input Logging: We do NOT log, store, or monitor the gamepad buttons, keys, or triggers you press.
• No Motion Sensor Data Storage: Gyroscope and accelerometer motion sensor data are processed entirely in temporary volatile device memory in real-time to compute steering and aiming angles. They are never recorded or transmitted to any server.
• No Personal Identification: We do not ask for or collect your name, phone number, email address, physical address, or contacts.

3. Device Permissions & How They Are Used

To provide its core functionality as a wireless game controller, the App requests the following permissions:

• Bluetooth Permissions (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT, BLUETOOTH_SCAN, BLUETOOTH_ADMIN): Required strictly to discover, pair with, and transmit wireless Human Interface Device (HID) gamepad signals to your target PC, Mac, or Android TV.
• Vibration (VIBRATE): Used locally to provide tactile haptic feedback when pressing virtual controller buttons.
• Motion Sensors (Gyroscope & Accelerometer): Used solely to translate physical phone tilt into in-game steering and gyro aim coordinates.
• Internet Access & Network State: Used by third-party advertising, analytics, and billing SDKs as described below.

4. Third-Party Services & SDKs

The App integrates trusted third-party services for analytics, diagnostics, in-app purchases, and advertising:

• Google Play Billing: Handles secure payment processing for in-app purchases and subscriptions. We never see or store your credit card or financial information; transactions are managed directly and securely by Google Play.

• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Used to serve ads in the free version of the App. AdMob may collect pseudonymous identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID), coarse device information, and interaction data to serve relevant ads. Pro/Premium users enjoy an ad-free experience.

• Firebase Crashlytics & Analytics (Google LLC): Helps us identify software bugs, app crashes, and stability issues to improve performance across different Android devices. Collected information includes anonymized device models, OS versions, and crash stack traces.

5. Data Security & Retention

Because our app architecture is decentralized and does not utilize external user-account servers, your controller inputs and settings remain exclusively on your local device. Settings and saved custom layouts are stored locally using Android's encrypted DataStore.

6. Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can immediately take necessary steps.

7. GDPR & CCPA / CPRA Compliance

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have rights regarding your data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Because we do not store personal data or sell personal information, no personal profiles are maintained. For third-party ad preferences, you can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads via your Android device settings.
